Refunds will not be given after that date.  Attendance is transferable.  Cancellation must be received by J. Miller at phone number noted above.  ISACA Central Maryland Chapter reserves the right to cancel this event if there is not sufficient participation.  Participants will be notified the week of August 20th in the event that the seminar has been cancelled.  Paid registrations will be refunded.

Speaker Bio:
Nico Kalteis, a Senior Security Engineer at TDI (TDISecurity.com) has over a decade of experience in computer science and information assurance.  Mr. Kalteis is an information security expert who has consulted at numerous government agencies, private companies, and non-profit organizations, both domestic and international.  Mr. Kalteis is TDI's technical security lead and “go-to guy” for some of TDI's most prominent customers.  He has co-authored a publication on web application security for the U.S. Department of Education and has contributed to various open source projects, including the Linux PPTP-client.  Most recently, in his capacity as a Technical Security Engineer in America Online's Operations Security Group, Mr. Kalteis participated closely in the development of AOL's IDS infrastructure, responded to active threats against AOL servers, and delivered AOL's Information Security Primer training class to over 1,000 Network and Data Center Operations personnel.  Mr. Kalteis is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
